Fire Detection & Alarm Systems

All aspects of the fire detection and alarm system, i.e. design, installation, commissioning and maintenance must comply with either the BAFE SP201 or the SP203 modular certification scheme and on handover a certificate confirming this must be issued.

Fixed Extinguishing Systems

All aspects of the fixed extinguishing system, i.e. design, installation, commissioning and maintenance must comply with either the BAFE SP202 or SP203 modular certification schemes and on handover a certificate confirming this must be issued.

Supply of Portable Fire Extinguishing Equipment

All portable fire extinguishing equipment supplied must be manufactured and tested to the BAFE MP101 scheme.

Service and Maintenance of Portable Fire Extinguishing Equipment

The portable fire extinguishing equipment supplied must be regularly inspected and serviced in accordance with the BAFE SP101 scheme for the contract maintenance of portable fire extinguishers and the work carried out by a BAFE Registered Technician operating to the BAFE ST104 scheme.
